The Imitation Game (12A), 18th April

Drama, 114mins. Based on the real life story of legendary cryptanalyst Alan Turing, the film portrays the real life nail-biting race against time by Turing and his brilliant team of code-breakers at Britain’s top-secret Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park, during the darkest days of World War II.

The Theory of Everything (12A), 16th May

Biography, 119mins. Eddie Redmayne won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking and Felicity Jones deserved one too for her role. A moving, compelling film. Beautifully made, truly inspiring.

Testament of Youth (12A), 20th June 

Drama, 125mins. Based in the memoir by Vera Brittain and the marvellous Alicia Vikander, with a superb supporting cast, this is a moving study of the educational and emotional awakening of a young Englishwoman in the years leading up to the First World War.
